Terms of Service
Version dated October 17, 2026
This edition is for households whose billing address is in the United States. If your billing address is in Canada, see the Canada edition.
These terms govern your use of Zorivio, a meal planning app for households. Prices, renewal, cancellation and refunds are set out in the Commercial Terms. How we handle your information is set out in the Privacy Policy. Together, these three documents form the agreement between you and us.
Who we are
Zorivio is operated by Zorivio inc., also known in Quebec as Les Technologies Zorivio, a corporation incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act (corporation number 1815992-1) and registered in Quebec (Quebec enterprise number 1182584467) and Ontario (Ontario corporation number 1001708937). Head office: 750 chemin Sainte-Foy, suite 610, Quebec City, Quebec G1S 4P1, Canada. Contact: contact@zorivioapp.com.
The service
Zorivio turns your household members, serving sizes, allergies and restrictions, cooking days, leftovers and budget into an explained weekly meal plan, through to a consolidated grocery list. You approve your week: Zorivio never places an order or makes a purchase on your behalf.
The V4 Lite beta is invite-only, in Canada and the United States. During the beta, features may change, be added or be removed. We tell you in advance about any change that materially reduces the service you subscribe to.
Your account and household
- Only an adult with legal capacity to contract can create an account and pay for a subscription. That adult is the household owner and manages the household’s subscription, billing and privacy choices.
- The owner can invite other adults from the same household. Each invited adult uses their own account.
- Children do not have accounts. They can only appear as profiles managed by the adult owner, with no sign-in, no email and no payment method.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, especially allergies and restrictions, and for keeping your access secure. Tell us promptly about any unauthorized access.
Allergies, intolerances and nutrition
Zorivio treats declared allergies and restrictions as strict rules: a plan that breaks them is rejected. Zorivio’s filters, however, rely on the information available and cannot guarantee the absence of allergens or cross-contamination. Always check the actual product label and the manufacturer’s information before eating or serving any food.
Nutritional values are estimates per serving. Results may vary depending on brands, quantities and preparation. Check the product label for exact information. Zorivio does not provide medical or therapeutic advice and does not replace a healthcare professional. Do not use Zorivio in an emergency.
Prices, promotions and stores
Displayed prices, promotions and availability may come from third parties and change without notice. They are provided for information, according to the source and time shown. Always check the final price, conditions and availability with the retailer before buying. An estimated saving is never presented as a measured saving.
Automated suggestions
Some suggestions, including meal plans, may be produced by automated systems, including artificial intelligence. Allergy and restriction constraints are always checked by fixed rules, independently of those systems. A suggestion may contain errors: you remain free to change or decline it, and nothing is approved without you.
Your content
You keep ownership of the information and content you add, such as your recipes. You grant us only the limited licence needed to provide the service to your household. Do not add content you do not have the rights to.
The software, the Zorivio brand, the recipes in the Zorivio library and their photos belong to us or are used under licence. You may use them for your personal use within the service, but not copy, resell or scrape them.
To report content that infringes a copyright, see Copyright and infringement reports.
Copyright and infringement reports
If you believe content in Zorivio infringes a copyright you own or represent, write to us at privacy@zorivioapp.com. Your report must include:
- identification of the copyrighted work you believe is copied without permission;
- the location of the content in the service, precise enough for us to find it;
- your contact details: name, mailing address, email address and phone number;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your report is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on its behalf (in the United States, this statement is made under penalty of perjury);
- your physical or electronic signature.
United States (Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512). When we receive a compliant notice, we promptly remove or disable access to the content and notify the person who added it. If that person believes the content was removed by mistake or misidentification, they may send us a counter-notice. The counter-notice must include:
- their physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the content removed and where it appeared before removal;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that they believe in good faith the content was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- their name, address and phone number;
- a statement that they consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for their address, or any judicial district where Zorivio may be found if they live outside the United States, and that they will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice or that person’s agent.
We forward the counter-notice to the person who sent the notice. We may restore the content 10 to 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice, unless that person first tells us they have filed a court action to restrain the disputed use. Name and address of our designated agent for notices: Antoine Velicite, Zorivio inc., 750 chemin Sainte-Foy, Québec, G1S 4P1, Canada; email privacy@zorivioapp.com (registered with the U.S. Copyright Office, effective October 11, 2026).
Canada (Copyright Act, sections 41.25, 41.26 and 31.1(4)). Canada uses a “notice and notice” regime. In addition to the elements above, a notice under the Act states your interest or right in the work, the claimed infringement, and the date and time of the alleged infringement. It may not contain an offer to settle or a demand for payment or personal information. When we receive a compliant notice, we forward it to the person concerned and tell the claimant that we did. We keep the information that identifies that person for the period the Act requires, but we do not disclose their identity to the claimant without a court order. Separately from this regime, we may remove content that breaks these terms.
Repeat infringement. In appropriate cases, we may suspend or close the account of a person who repeatedly infringes others’ copyright, as set out in Suspension and account closure.
Good faith. Do not send abusive reports, or a report or counter-notice you know to be false. A person who falsely claims that content infringes a copyright, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for the resulting damages.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- try to access another household’s data or bypass a security measure;
- scrape the service or its content by automated means, or overload it;
- use several identities or payment methods to obtain a one-time offer more than once;
- use the service for unlawful purposes or to harm others.
Suspension and account closure
We may limit or suspend an account that breaches these terms or endangers the security of other households. Except in an emergency, we notify you first and give you a chance to fix the situation. You can delete your account at any time in the app; deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.
Liability
We provide the service with care and diligence. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for purchasing, eating or health decisions made without the checks described above, or for prices and availability set by retailers. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under applicable law, including the Quebec Consumer Protection Act if you live in Quebec.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you live elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the place where you live. No clause requires you to use arbitration or prevents you from joining a class action where the law gives you that right.
Changes
We may change these terms. For a material change, we notify you by email and in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect, explaining what changes and how to refuse, including by cancelling your subscription. The version in force is dated at the top of this page.
Language
These terms exist in French and English. Both versions are equally authoritative.
